41. Hirusukawa the Scumbag Reporter, Alien Infighting
At the same time, the author of this report also made Qiming's eyes go dark.
Hirukawa?
That scum reporter who beat and kicked Mirai in Ultraman Mebius?
What on earth is wrong with this world? Why are only these "bad oranges" running around active in the open?
He had rambled on at length in this report, stating that while the Alien Baltan dared to attack a TPC shelter to capture people, it met its end at the hands of a Defense Force officer, which just went to show that the Defense Force was far more reliable.
"I wonder how much they paid him for this; the bias is way too obvious," Qiming remarked.
Saeki Erika: "The point is, we also need to produce some eye-catching achievements."
Qiming: "Didn't we rescue over a dozen people from Abbaz?"
Saeki Erika shook her head, explaining that those people were still statues and had not returned to normal.
Was it really that troublesome? Qiming remembered that in the original series, [Redeall] easily turned the people solidified by Abbaz back to normal. Speaking of which, why was that guy still nowhere to be seen?
After Saeki Erika left, Megumi said, "The counselor is very concerned about this matter. The pressure is huge."
Qiming: "Ignore them. Let's just go at our own pace."
Just then, Kishida's excited voice rang out over the PDI communicator: "They've appeared! Aliens have appeared near Chris Maya!"
After staking the place out like a stalker for so long, their hard work had finally paid off!
Qiming: "Is it the Alien Muzan?"
Kishida: "Not just one, there are a lot of them!"
…………………………
Five minutes ago.
Chris Maya was walking through a narrow alley, preparing to go home.
Ever since she escaped from the Alien Nayan that day, she had desperately wanted to follow her brother, but he had spoken of trouble with a heavy heart and said things needed to be delayed.
When she pressed him further, she learned that the other home-planet refugees who had come out with her brother had all been slaughtered by the Alien Nayan.
Could the two siblings really hope to find a new land in the universe all by themselves?
Where would their future lead them?
At this thought, Chris Maya's face was full of sorrow as she lowered her head with a sigh.
"Whoosh!" The next moment, a flash of snow-white blade light cut through the air.
A lock of Chris Maya's hair was cleanly sliced off, and along with it, the root of a large tree beside her.
The Alien Ketarl had appeared; this murderer had actually set his sights on Chris Maya!
"You... still refuse to let us go?" Chris Maya asked with a trembling voice, mistakenly believing this was the pursuit force of the Alien Nayan.
Acting like a ruthless killing machine, the Alien Ketarl gripped a short blade and slashed forward.
"Clang!" At the critical moment, an iron handcuff appeared, blocking the strike.
Blue-dyed hair, a female silhouette, and those sturdy handcuffs...
[Lucia], the second target exiled by the Alien Muzan, had shown up and rescued Chris Maya!
Kind-hearted to the core, she grabbed Chris Maya, turned around, and bolted, displaying astonishing leaping ability.
However, the Alien Ketarl possessed superhuman physical attributes as well, and after a fierce chase, he cornered them into a dead end.
Chris Maya: "Leave me be. Run away by yourself."
Lucia remained silent. She shook her head, unable to just stand by and watch someone die. She stepped forward to fight the Alien Ketarl, but was quickly defeated and nearly had her throat slit.
"Bang!" Lucia used the shackles on her wrists to protect her neck, but the Alien Ketarl seized the opportunity to kick her fiercely in the abdomen, sending her tumbling back toward Chris Maya, unable to get back up.
"Slash!" The Alien Ketarl raised his short blade for the kill, but yet another figure emerged, grabbing his arm and stopping him in his tracks.
It was a man wearing a brown jacket with a stiff, expressionless face.
Chris Maya thought another savior had arrived, but Lucia beside her trembled uncontrollably, her eyes filled with immense terror.
This man was the mimicry form of the Alien Muzan!
At this moment, he was warning the Alien Ketarl in an alien language, telling him that Lucia was his prey and warning him not to meddle.
Yet the bloodthirsty Alien Ketarl cared nothing for this, delivering a direct elbow strike straight to the Alien Muzan.
"The two of them are fighting!" exclaimed Kishida, the frontline reporter in the distance.
Because Chris Maya had not been pushed to the absolute brink just yet, Moroboshi Dan had instructed him to wait for the main force to arrive before taking joint action.
Qiming's voice sounded in the comms channel: "How's the fight going? We're almost there."
Kishida: "It's pretty evenly matched."
The Alien Ketarl was armed with a weapon while the Alien Muzan fought empty-handed, putting the latter at a slight disadvantage.
Kishida had hoped the two aliens would fight to the death so he could reap the benefits as a fisherman, but unfortunately, the opposition wasn't stupid.
Realizing neither could gain the upper hand against the other, they chose to halt hostilities.
In the end, both sides took a step back: Lucia had to be killed by the Alien Muzan personally, and he would take her handcuffs back as proof of a successful hunt, while the fate of everyone else was of no concern to him.
The two aliens charged forward together—the Alien Ketarl aiming to sever Chris Maya's head, while the Alien Muzan locked onto Lucia.
Qiming arrived at the crucial moment, landing a flying kick squarely into the Alien Ketarl's abdomen while executing a mid-air somersault, striking the Alien Muzan with a one-inch punch and successfully repelling both aliens simultaneously.
"Roar..." Clutching his stomach, the Alien Ketarl glared fiercely at Qiming. He had suffered a humiliating defeat at this man's hands previously and had been dying to settle the score ever since.
Qiming glanced back at Chris Maya and Lucia behind him, and seeing they were unharmed, turned his attention to the Alien Muzan:
"Although entering Earth without a greeting is somewhat impolite, seeing as you had no aggressive intentions and didn't cause too much of a stir..."
"If you are willing to leave now, we won't hold you accountable."
"But he is different. He has blood on his hands on Earth. He must die!"
With those final words, Qiming pointed directly at the Alien Ketarl, deeply provoking the creature and causing it to lunge forward savagely.
"Let's settle the score between us!" Yamanaka flashed out from behind Qiming, dual-wielding his sidearms and unleashing a torrent of firepower upon the Alien Ketarl.
The alien attempted to evade, but Yamanaka's aim was infallible; his bullets locked tightly onto the alien's dodging trajectory, battering him relentlessly and sending sparks flying in all directions.
Stunned by the volley, the Alien Ketarl was forced to the ground, but before he could regain his footing, another round of gunfire rained down upon his back.
Kishida and Saionji Nagi emerged from their designated route with Guts Hyper Guns drawn, completely surrounding the Alien Ketarl.
"Pay the price!" Saionji Nagi gazed coldly at the Alien Ketarl, determined to personally put an end to this mistake of her own making.
Though the Alien Muzan had not been attacked, he was likewise trapped within the encirclement.
His gaze fixed on Lucia like a venomous snake, clearly showing he had no intention of abandoning this prize within his grasp.
Watching Qiming stand between them and Lucia and Chris Maya, the Alien Muzan and the Alien Ketarl exchanged a simultaneous glance.
Were they going to team up?

Let me recommend the author's previous Ultraman novel to readers who are bored while waiting for updates: "Picking Up Attributes in the Ultraman World".
The title might sound a bit cheesy, but I'm quite confident in the content; it's an orthodox Ultraman novel.
To rate it myself, "Qiming" is expected to smoothly reach around a 9.5 rating upon completion according to the outline, while the previous book managed an 8.
Many members of the reader community consider it the best Ultraman novel of 2024, and those who chased it all the way to the end were not disappointed.
Prior to the Tiga arc, the average subscription count even exceeded ten thousand (I'll drop an image here).
The link has been placed in the [Author's Notes], so everyone can just click right in to read.
While enjoying the old book, don't forget to keep up with the daily updates of the new one!
Readership during the new book period is really important. Please, I'm begging you!
