Guarda Prisional Sobrenatural, Nunca Age Sem Certeza Noite negra, veste branca. 2569 words 2026-08-04 04:41:18

The prison guards, seeing Lin Yun so straightforward, felt a pang of guilt. Gritting their teeth, they pooled some money together and took him to the Tianxiang Grand Restaurant that night for drinks, under the pretense of a "farewell gathering."

But whether it was truly a send-off or just a celebration...

Only the heavens knew.

Lin Yun didn’t refuse and drank with them at the Tianxiang Grand Restaurant until the late hours of the night.

When everyone was utterly drunk and either checked into hotels or went home, Lin Yun bought a roast chicken and carried a bottle of the most expensive drunken Maotai from Tianxiang Grand Restaurant, leisurely returning to the prison.

Then, with a smile, he walked up to the door of Cell 32.

At that moment, Zhang Mu, who was sound asleep, groggily opened his eyes and nearly had a heart attack upon seeing Lin Yun standing before him with roast chicken and fine wine.

"Officer Lin... don’t scare me! It’s the middle of the night. Why... why are you bringing me a last meal? So suddenly?"

Lin Yun looked at the trembling Zhang Mu and burst into laughter, feeling that all the dazzling lights and revelry outside couldn’t compare to a fraction of the joy he felt at that moment.

On the entire first floor of the supernatural prison, Zhang Mu was definitely the most entertaining!

...

“Prison guard Lin Yun!”

“Here!”

“Next, Liu Biao!”

Two guards were leading them toward the second floor of the supernatural prison.

There were eight of them in total; four were from the first floor of the prison, and the other four had been transferred from the police station.

“Is security really this tight on the second floor?”

Recalling his recent experience, Lin Yun muttered in his heart.

First, there was facial recognition, then a blood test, and finally, a device scanned their foreheads, supposedly to analyze their souls, to prevent imposters from sneaking in.

Fortunately, Lin Yun had crossed over from another world; this wasn’t some low-level body-snatching.

Following the guards through the corridors, twisting and turning, up and down, after quite a while, they finally arrived.

“We’re here!”

The other prison guards were so frightened their legs went weak; only Lin Yun’s eyes wandered restlessly around.

The second floor of the prison was unlike what he had imagined—it was not gloomy or terrifying but actually much brighter than the first floor.

However, an invisible murderous aura permeated the air, and the body’s vitality was drained even faster.

Lin Yun possessed a blade technique called “Slaughter Asura Blade” that was extremely sensitive to such killing intent.

The first floor was already harsh, but the second floor...

Ordinary people wouldn’t last more than a few years here; they’d probably drop dead on the spot.

They stood in a spacious hall, facing a few individuals who stared coldly at them.

Lin Yun glanced over and found that these men were no weaklings—all were at least mid-level supernatural users, and the leader was an advanced supernatural user.

Their uniforms were strange, resembling those of the Supernatural Security Bureau, but the emblem on their chests was not that of the Bureau.

Instead, it was a black unicorn!

No, not a unicorn!

Suddenly, Lin Yun recalled the name of this mythical beast—the Xiezhi!

A legendary ancient beast said to be able to distinguish right from wrong and loyalty from treachery!

“Hmph, is that all?!”

The middle-aged man with a short beard narrowed his eyes at Lin Yun and the others, exhaling a contemptuous snort through his nostrils.

The accompanying guard put on a smile and said, “Eight is already quite a few. The first floor is still short-staffed…”

“Those HR useless sacks...”

The bearded man ground his teeth in frustration, itching to drag those people over, but in the end, he sighed and waved his hand, “Forget it, we’ll make do. They’ll only last a month anyway.”

As he spoke, his eagle-like sharp gaze swept over the group of new prison guards.

Under that gaze, the guards instantly fell silent, wishing they could disappear into the ground; some even trembled violently.

Lin Yun lowered his head obediently, blending into the crowd, perfectly embodying the phrase “harmless as a lamb.”

Seeing this group of spineless fools, the bearded man lost interest and impatiently waved his hand, “Those who know some martial arts, step forward!”

The prison guards exchanged glances, then six of them stepped forward hesitantly.

“Trash with low-level supernatural abilities below rank three?!”

A sycophantic secretary behind the bearded man shouted.

At his words, two of the bravely stepped-forward guards immediately shrank back.

In the end, only four pitiful figures remained.

The secretary, holding a pen and paper, arrogantly questioned each one in turn, “Name, age, supernatural rank!”

“T-Tie Geng, thirty-seven, low-level supernatural user, rank four…”

A burly guard with a face full of scars stammered, his voice tiny as a mosquito’s.

After questioning three people, the highest rank was only a low-level supernatural user at rank six.

The bearded man frowned deeply, cursing this group of trash in his heart.

Soon, it was Lin Yun’s turn.

“Name, age, supernatural rank!”

The sycophantic secretary habitually fired off three questions.

“Lin Yun, nineteen, supernatural rank…”

Lin Yun deliberately paused, then smiled and said, “I recently advanced to mid-level supernatural user.”

“Whoa—”

At these words, the surrounding guards all gasped, staring at him as if he were a monster, disbelief written all over their faces.

Even the secretary was stunned, nearly dropping his pen.

The bearded man behind him suddenly raised his head, his gaze burning as he fixed on Lin Yun.

“Boy, don’t lie! Falsifying military information is a serious crime!”

The secretary warned fiercely but nervously, “Put out your hand so I can check!”

Without hesitation, Lin Yun extended his palm confidently.

He was now a rank six super supernatural user. By activating his “Spiritual Light Restraint” and releasing some of his supernatural energy, no one could discern his true level.

With a thought, a supernatural aura as fine as a hair strand appeared.

The secretary skeptically touched Lin Yun’s palm with his finger.

“Boom—”

A surge of pure supernatural energy exploded instantly, causing him to scream in shock like he’d been electrocuted. He withdrew his hand rapidly, stumbling back several steps before regaining his balance, his eyes now filled with awe.

“Good kid, not bad strength!”

The bearded man’s eyes gleamed sharply. He strode over to Lin Yun and grabbed his shoulder.

An overwhelming supernatural energy suddenly invaded Lin Yun’s body without warning.

Lin Yun sneered inwardly but feigned ignorance.

“Indeed, you’re a rank one mid-level supernatural user. Not bad, not bad!”

The bearded man nodded approvingly, then fixed his sharp gaze on Lin Yun. “Boy, what’s your background?”

“My family has been prison guards for five generations. After my father passed away, I took over his position. I made some achievements, and the former captain gave me a supernatural technique, which helped me progress.”

Lin Yun answered candidly, without hiding anything, even mentioning the “Black Tiger Divine Power Manual” he received from Captain Ren.

He knew such things couldn’t be concealed; if the higher-ups wanted to investigate, they would find clues.

Besides, his dealings with Captain Ren were aboveboard, and he had a clear conscience.

Whether Captain Ren adhered to the rules or not was another matter.

Moreover, Captain Ren had been dead for over half a year—there was no one to testify, so there was nothing to worry about.
