Today, Yun City seemed shrouded in a mysterious aura. The streets were bustling with endless streams of vehicles and a cacophony of voices, a stark contrast to the usual tranquility.

The cause of this sudden excitement was none other than the eldest son of the Wen family, Wen Yun’an, recently returned from abroad, who was about to hold an unexpected art exhibition at "Yunmeng Space."

Wen Yun’an was a name that resonated thunderously throughout the art world. His paintings were not only masterfully crafted but also imbued with profound emotion and philosophical depth, each piece a true treasure of art.

Yet, this great artist was known for his low profile and rarely held public exhibitions.

When news of this exhibition spread like wildfire, the entire Yun City erupted in fervor.

People flocked to Yunmeng Space, eager to be the first to witness Wen Yun’an’s works.

Even before the exhibition began, the entrance of Yunmeng Space was already packed with a lively crowd.

“Have you heard? Wen Yun’an is holding an exhibition here! I’ve been waiting for this for so long!”

“Yeah, his paintings are priceless; it’s rare to even get a glimpse.”

Among the crowd, a stylishly dressed young woman squeezed her way to the front, excitedly pulling out her phone to take photos, a bright smile spreading across her face. “I’m posting to my social feed first! Today’s headline news: a live report from Wen Yun’an’s exhibition!”

One truck after another arrived, as workers busily unloaded precious paintings with utmost care, placing them meticulously in their designated spots.

Across the street, in front of the Wen family villa, the scene was equally bustling.

Wen Yun’an stood at the entrance, dressed in a crisp white casual suit, a simple yet tasteful black checkered scarf draped around his neck.

He personally directed the handling of the artworks.

“Be careful. This one is ‘Dawn.’ Handle it gently,” he said with anxious urgency.

“Don’t worry, Mr. Wen, we’re all experienced,” came the confident reply.

Among the workers, dressed in the Wen household’s uniform, faces glowed with pride and joy as they moved about.

Amid them, a man in a security guard uniform stood out. His strong build and sharp eyes constantly scanned the crowd, his mind seemingly elsewhere.

Nearby, inside a private car parked in front of the Wen villa, a slightly stout man with a beard quietly observed the activity within the Wen residence.

Holding a phone, he nodded occasionally, confirming something, his face stern.

“Don’t worry. At three o’clock, be at the dog cage on time. Everything proceeds as planned.”

At last, he ended the call and gave a subtle signal to two men in the back seat.

With a low “Let’s go,” the bearded man and his two companions stepped out, approaching the Wen villa steadily and confidently, each step exuding an undeniable presence.

The bearded man led the way, his gaze sweeping through the crowd until it settled on the security guard.

As the last painting was carefully loaded onto the truck, the flurry of activity at the Wen villa came to a pause.

The servants returned to their rooms to prepare for other matters.

However, the man in the security uniform lingered, glancing repeatedly toward the villa’s interior and then at Wen Yun’an, his eyes filled with a mixture of hope and anxiety.

Wen Yun’an noticed his unusual behavior and approached him.

“You’ve finished your work. Why aren’t you leaving?”

The man’s eyes flickered uncertainly, seemingly at a loss.

At that moment, Wen Wan’er burst out from the villa, breathless.

“He’s one of the workers I hired. We’re short-staffed today, and I was worried the exhibition might get delayed, so I asked him to help out.”
