Because he had rolled a 100, Chen Mo earned an additional lottery draw. Without hesitation, he pulled again.

Damn, this luck... am I hitting a streak of pure gold?

A blood-red long blade appeared in Chen Mo's inventory.

【Simplified Blood-Slaying Blade】
【Capable of unleashing blood-red light from the blade for both attack and defense. The light is consumed with use, but it can slowly absorb ambient energy to recover, or the wielder can actively inject energy to replenish it.】
【Even in the hands of an ordinary person, the Blood-Slaying Blade can sense the wielder's intent and manipulate the blade's energy to take effect.】
【This weapon is a simplified version of the original Blood-Slaying God Blade and does not possess the growth potential or other unique properties of the original.】

Another excellent item, and one he could actually use despite his lack of internal energy circulation. If the Hypnosis Eye provided a mechanic-based ability, this Blood-Slaying Blade provided a raw numerical boost.

*Swish—*

After a moment of thought, Chen Mo withdrew the blade from his inventory. A crimson long blade appeared in his hand from thin air.

"This blade is called the Blood-Slaying Blade, a cultivation tool left behind by my ancestors."

Chen Mo smiled and gave a gentle swing toward the small table in front of him. A flash of scarlet light swept across the edge, slicing through the table as if it were tofu.

"This blade can release blood-light for both offense and defense, and even a mortal with no energy circulation can wield it... This is the artifact my ancestor left me."

"However," Chen Mo sighed as he put the blade away, "this item doesn't mean much in this particular plot world. The blade's light can cut through steel and withstand a burst of machine-gun fire or a high-explosive grenade, but at best, it’s only good for dealing with those tentacle-like monsters. It might keep me safe, but if I want to accomplish anything major, I’ll need other external forces—like a massive gas station explosion or the intervention of the human military—to really finish off that giant alien from the movie."

He had no intention of revealing the existence of his Hypnosis Eye. There was no reason to; he needed that item to quietly accomplish certain tasks.

A glint flashed in Chu Hao’s eyes. "Besides these, are there any other items?"

"There are," Chen Mo replied, "but whether they can be used is another story. Some items are unusable because the conditions aren't met, and others have seals placed by my ancestor, meant to be unlocked only when I reach a certain level of strength... It’s hard to say what he was thinking."

This was a lie. There was no ancestral inheritance; everything was merely a way to rationalize the items he would trade for with members of his chat group in the future.

Possessing a cheat didn't mean he could do whatever he wanted. Unlike those cheats that granted instant invincibility, the chat group could still lead to his sudden death if he mismanaged things in the early stages. He recalled stories of chat groups where members had died because they couldn't wait for help from other members or the group itself. He didn't want to end up like that, so he had to keep the secret of the chat group well-guarded.

"I see... I understand now," Chu Hao nodded.

A spatial storage item and a magical weapon capable of both offense and defense—if the memories and Jenny's words had convinced Chu Hao by thirty percent, then seeing the miraculous ability of Chen Mo's item firsthand brought his trust up to sixty percent.

If the Main God were as miraculous and powerful as Jenny and Chen Mo claimed, then this was the only opportunity of his life. It was a chance to stand against the CX organization, a way for the Rebels to stop hiding in the shadows and perhaps even launch a counterattack.

If any of this was real—even if only ten percent, or even one percent of what Jenny said about the exchanges was true—he could not afford to let go of this treasure trove that was the Main God space.

He needed reward points and side quests—a massive, staggering amount. Only then could he exchange for the items he needed to challenge the CX organization and grant the Rebels the power to compete with them. To achieve this, he had to use his intellect to calculate, plan, and analyze how to farm enough reward points and side quests during this *Skyline* catastrophe.

"Let’s analyze the main mission now. I actually have a few theories about it..." Chu Hao said. "Regarding the mission, I believe there is a massive trap—or rather, a deception that functions like a play on words..."

As Chu Hao explained his views on the *Skyline* catastrophe and the main mission, Chen Mo, who had already read the story and knew exactly what Chu Hao would say, didn't waste much energy listening. Instead, he shifted his focus back to the chat group.

Perhaps because he had been silent for so long, the members thought he had met with a disaster, or perhaps they assumed he was just the cold, aloof type.

After a moment, Chen Mo finally responded.

【Chen Mo: Newbie checking in.】
【Lu Mingfei: Oh, oh! The newbie is alive!】
【Emiya Shirou: Is the newbie in some kind of trouble? If you need help, let me know, and I’ll do my best.】
【Tokisaki Kurumi: Ara, ara, I thought you were going to be a cold, aloof kid.】
【Chen Mo: It’s nothing much, though I have indeed run into a bit of trouble.】
【Lu Mingfei: What kind of trouble could make you ignore a cheat that appeared right inside your head?】
【Chen Mo: Not much, just that aliens are going to invade Earth in two days.】
【Lu Mingfei: ?】
【Emiya Shirou: ?】
【Tokisaki Kurumi: ?】

Lu Mingfei’s hand shook, and his pen dropped from the desk to the floor. He quickly picked it up, but his mind was no longer on the book in front of him. Even though he had been lurking in the group, he now pretended to be reading while typing a rapid response to Chen Mo.

【Lu Mingfei: Wait, what do you mean? Aliens invading Earth? Is that for real?】
【Chen Mo: Absolutely real.】
【Chen Mo: But it’s fine.】
【Chen Mo: We’re going to win.】
【Chen Mo: Anyway, Zheng "the Gorilla" is coming in seven days. Those aliens and their warships are going to be crushed like pancakes in one punch. We only need to deal with a bunch of alien monsters that can be handled with conventional firepower.】
【Emiya Shirou: Does that mean you won’t have any problems for the time being?】
【Chen Mo: Not for now.】
【Chen Mo: By the way.】
【Chen Mo: @Lu Mingfei @Tokisaki Kurumi @Aqua】
【Chen Mo: I know exactly where you guys come from.】
