The camera swept freely across the solitary island, behind everyone stretched an endless sea, shimmering with hues of deep blue and emerald green, merging seamlessly with the sky on the distant horizon.

Beneath their feet lay soft sandy beaches, the sand glowing golden under the sun as if untouched by human footsteps. They were the fortunate first visitors to this land.

“This place is stunning. The production team must be rich—let’s flood the chat with that,” one viewer commented.

“I strongly suspect the production has received investment from President Qin. How else could the style change so drastically from before?” another speculated.

“From a remote village to a beautiful island, the production team has really stepped up,” someone added.

“Alright, after the tour, please come take a look at the houses where you’ll be staying this time. Everyone will be living together in this seaside villa,” the director announced.

At every new filming location, the first concern for everyone was always their living quarters. As soon as the director finished speaking, several children eagerly ran together toward the simple villa nestled by the sea.

The entire house was enclosed by a low fence. Upon entering, to the left was an open space with a small chicken coop fenced off separately, inside of which a few leisurely chickens were strolling about.

All the children’s eyes were immediately drawn to the chickens. They crouched by the coop, chattering noisily—louder even than the chickens themselves.

On the train, Xiao Tian had already formed a close friendship with Yang Yang. The two boys stood side by side, and Xiao Tian asked, “I wonder if these little chickens can be eaten?”

Da Xi’s eyes widened. “How could you eat such adorable chicks? Of course, we have to raise them!”

“But these chickens are meant to be eaten, right, Mom?” Xiao Tian turned to Fang Wei, seeking support, while the adults had already entered the courtyard.

To the right upon entering was the kitchen, a simple wooden structure with a tiled roof.

Once inside, Su Wan Ning felt instantly refreshed. Thanks to the director’s thoughtful arrangements, the kitchen had many windows for ventilation. Standing by the stove, she pushed open a wooden window and was greeted by an endless view of the ocean, a sight so breathtaking it felt like cooking amidst a dream.

“Wow! The director even prepared a coffee machine for us this time?” Tian Boyu exclaimed, drawing everyone’s attention. They soon noticed that besides the coffee machine, there was also a smart ice maker.

“The director really went all out,” Yu Xin teased Wang Zan with a wink.

But Su Wan Ning’s attention was not on the coffee corner; instead, she focused on the refrigerator nearby—a large, double-door model from a well-known brand, a stark contrast to the outdated single-door refrigerators seen in previous village settings.

Eagerly, she opened the fridge door, only to find it spotless and empty, as if it had just been moved from a store and only recently powered on.

A strange unease bubbled up in Su Wan Ning’s heart. She whispered to Qin Jingchen behind her, “There’s no way it’s this good. The production team must have some trick up their sleeve!”

Qin Jingchen glanced at her cynical expression and chuckled softly, offering reassurance. “Don’t worry. If the production team tries to bully you, I’ll back you up.”

“Smells like a lovesick stench,” came a playful comment on the live chat.

“I can’t stand this—can the production team bring the other husbands too? Only their group is here showing off their love, it’s so unfair to the rest of us!” another viewer lamented.

“Don’t get your hopes up—not every husband has the kind of nature to come on the show with wife and kids,” someone responded.

“I’m tired of saying how jealous I am,” another added.

Flashing through the chat were all sorts of flirtatious remarks, which Su Wan Ning ignored, unwilling to acknowledge Qin Jingchen’s sudden, inexplicable fondness.

Up to now, although she hadn’t figured out his motives, she had long erected a high wall of caution in her heart against him.

After touring the kitchen, everyone finally entered the living room. It was spacious, thoughtfully arranged by the director to feel homely. Neat potted plants lined the windowsill, and a large rug covered the floor, centered by a low table for everyone to sit around and chat.

“There’s a room here!” Yu Xin was the first to find a bedroom on the first floor, located just to the left upon entering. It was small but warmly furnished, with an en-suite bathroom and a window overlooking the sea.

“I like this room!” Tian Boyu stood by the window and nodded in agreement. “Me too, I really like it here.”

Yu Xin immediately looked at him with suspicion, her face guarded.

“This is hilarious. Tian Boyu probably wants to fight with Yu Xin over the room, right?” one viewer joked.

“These two somehow have that ‘bickering but fond’ vibe,” another commented.

“Tian Boyu wouldn’t dare provoke Yu Xin; he’d probably give her the room willingly,” someone else said.

Besides this, there were two more rooms on the first floor, one of which was quite large and contained a big dormitory-style bed.

“Director, there are only three rooms. How are so many of us supposed to split them?” Fang Wei asked after the tour, confused.

The director pointed toward the staircase.

“There’s one more room upstairs.”

Though called a villa, the house built by the production team resembled a simple two-story rural home. Everyone ascended the stairs and found that upstairs, aside from a single room, there was nothing else.

This room was exceptionally fortunate—the moment one entered, there was a large floor-to-ceiling bed. To the left was a door leading to a balcony with a direct view of the sea, a classic ocean-view room.

As soon as everyone stepped onto the balcony, they were captivated. No matter whether they liked any of the rooms downstairs, they all clamored for this one.

“I love this place. It’s so beautiful,” Fang Wei said, breathing in the salty sea air, feeling utterly refreshed.

“I like it too. Yang Yang, what about you?”

Yang Yang obediently nodded. “Mom, this room makes me feel happy.”

Having finished the tour of all the houses, everyone eagerly went downstairs, waiting for the director to assign rooms. But Wang Zan announced the allocation immediately.

“Because the situation this time is special and Su Wan Ning’s family has more members, the production team has decided to give them the largest room upstairs.”

At this, the other guests showed varied expressions. Yin Shanshan frowned briefly, then smiled lightly. “So it’s already been decided. I was hoping for some new game this time.”

Fang Wei couldn’t help but ask, “But why? The dormitory downstairs is quite spacious too.”
