[End-of-Month Summary and 30-Day Daily Report for May]

I Can See the Yield Rate Bullheaded Wolf 852 words 2026-04-01 06:50:11

Launched on April 19th, twelve days in total!
Among them, nine days reached over ten thousand words daily, and another three days hit seven thousand.
In these twelve days, the total update amounted to 110,000 words—not too much, but not too little either. It’s a bit regrettable that last night, due to a sudden close contact in the building, I had to take a nucleic acid test; otherwise, the first “habitual outbreak” badge for ten days of over ten thousand words would have been earned.
The updates in May will definitely be voluminous and satisfying, with the goal stated in the title: thirty days of daily ten-thousand-word updates to claim the “explosive update” badge.
These might be the only two badges I can realistically obtain—premium and others will depend on luck.
As for the plot, it’s been a bit shaky lately.
From launch until the grand tour arc, the subscription numbers were quite decent. The grand tour storyline saw a notable drop, and subsequent plot arcs have maintained normal subscription levels.
Looking back, the sudden switch to the grand tour for chapters 134 and 135 was a misstep.
There is some regret over that decision.
However, the earlier chapters laid the groundwork for the grand tour, deepening the relationship between the protagonist and Caiying Qian. This dispelled the perception that the protagonist was a lone wolf, isolated and unsupported—perhaps in reality such a path is possible, but in fiction, being too realistic can be unsatisfying.
This novel’s style is slow-burning and leans toward realism; it does not blindly pursue mindless thrills.
The free chapters are fine since they cost nothing, but if post-launch updates drag and frustrate, then it’s just unfortunate.
These words come with a heavy heart—efforts will be made to avoid this moving forward.
The protagonist’s “golden finger” is about to level up to Lv. 2, and career development will shift from individual efforts to building a company, gathering a team of collaborators to grow and advance together.
Starting from the workplace, the decline of Sheng Xin and the protagonist’s recent bottom-fishing acquisitions link the story well.
Whether it’s stock trading or spot forex, these endeavors serve as a means to rapidly accumulate capital for future development and to fulfill material needs like buying cars and houses. Once money becomes just a number, naturally, the pursuit of higher goals and enjoyment follows.
Thus, the protagonist’s journey will not halt.
There is still a vast plan for the plot ahead. As long as the story doesn’t collapse entirely, and as long as I can keep writing with the help of royalties to barely make ends meet, I will continue—one million words, two million words, and beyond.
The standard is set here with each chapter; let us encourage one another.
Nothing more to say for now. Until the thirty days of consecutive ten-thousand-word updates are complete, single-chapter releases will mostly pause. During the May Day seven-day holiday, double monthly votes will be available—feel free to support as you see fit.
In May, I’ll strive for three daily updates totaling ten thousand words. As long as there’s no sudden mishap, there will be plenty of content to satisfy!
Good night, and happy May Day holiday!
