Apology and Explanation

Today was supposed to be payday for my royalties, but I didn't receive the payment. However, the author's dashboard shows that it has already been disbursed.

Yet, my bank account didn't get the funds. I'm wondering if it got swallowed up somewhere along the way.

After writing for three months, today was supposed to be the day my hard work paid off, but instead, my royalties vanished. I'm going to reach out to my editor to find out what's going on.

I have no idea if there's a way to resolve this.

With this happening, I instantly lost all motivation, and as I tried to write, I hit a severe writer's block.

I'm sorry, but today is another day with no chapter update.

Barring any unexpected accidents, I plan to finish the novel this month.

I hope everyone can forgive my final act of self-indulgence.
