Words Upon Publication
At midnight tonight, this book will be officially launched.
The editor’s message came as quite a surprise. I thought the book would only go live after reaching 200,000 words, so I was caught a bit off guard. I’ll do my best to write as much as possible today and see how many chapters I can finish.
I want to thank all the readers who have supported me so far. I’m truly grateful that you’ve followed the story to this point, and I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to read my work and the stories I’ve created.
I’d also like to thank my fellow authors who have helped promote my chapters, including Honey Sauce Chicken, Spicy Sauce Wuhan Noodles, Iced Cola, Eevee, Pancake, Seven Strings, King Meow, Bowing, and so many others.
Last year, I was working a day job while planning the plot for this novel, and it wasn’t until the end of March this year that I officially began writing. Only after starting did I realize how difficult it truly is, but I can’t give up this passion. I even dreamed of making a living from writing novels in the future, though I know how absurd that idea sounds.
I write my novels on my phone, as I don’t have a computer, and it’s really not easy. Just 2,000 words can take me several hours to plan out. I believe my writing isn’t filled with fluff—every chapter moves the plot forward.
As one reader mentioned, what might take hundreds of chapters elsewhere, I try to condense into just a few dozen, keeping the pace brisk.
Furthermore, I promise this novel will never have a rushed or unfinished ending. That’s my principle as a writer. No matter what, I will give the story and its characters a proper beginning and end.
This book has only received one trial recommendation and hasn’t had any further exposure. It’s a shame that so few people have seen it, but I still want to persevere.
Currently, the book has 7,800 followers. I hope you can support me, as the first day’s subscriptions are crucial.
Honestly, I’m even a bit worried that the first day’s subscriptions won’t reach triple digits.
I hope my readers can support me—to keep me from starving, and to let me know that my writing isn’t in vain. I rely on your help, and I will do my utmost to present a great story to you all.
Thank you.
I’d also like to recommend a few books written by friends from the group:

"Mount & Blade: Lord of the North" by Caged Bird in a Forest
"Super Talisman Master: I Can Randomize Talisman Quality" by Fragrant Creek and Moon
"Mystery Revival: I Can Waive the Cost" by Eternal White
Finally, if there are any plots you’d like to see in this book, or if you have any suggestions for the story, please feel free to share them.
And lastly, if you want to urge me to update faster, you can join the readers’ group at: 914310630.
