VIP Chapter 146: Those Who Harm My Brother Will Pay with Their Lives
But normally calm and composed Jiaran became frantic, rushing wildly toward the Wolf King, crying out in despair, "Give Yaya back to me! If you want to eat, eat me instead!"
It turned out that the Wolf King had snatched away the silly girl who had been sleeping quietly in her arms! Before Jiaran could react, the girl vanished, falling into the Wolf King’s grasp, which naturally filled Jiaran with anxiety and sorrow.
The Wolf King looked at her coldly and, without waiting for her to get close, kicked a clod of earth that struck her abdomen. Jiaran felt a sharp pain in her lower belly and fell to the ground.
The Wolf King sneered contemptuously at the crowd. “In my eyes, you are not even worth an ant! These werewolves are nothing but the lowest-grade test subjects. You can’t even control them, and you want to challenge me?”
Guan Ling rushed over to help Jiaran up, glaring fiercely at the Wolf King. “You inhuman beast—no better than a monster—no matter how powerful you are, you’re just a tool for killing!”
“Howl!” The Wolf King roared angrily, clutching the silly girl and lunging forward, a claw slashing straight at Guan Ling’s head.
Guan Ling hadn’t expected such speed and was too late to dodge, so she closed her eyes, ready to die. But Jiaran grabbed her and stepped forward to shield her.
Just as the Wolf King’s razor-sharp claws were about to strike Jiaran’s head, the silly girl in his arms moved suddenly. Startled, the Wolf King immediately retracted his claws and jumped back to the cliff’s edge, holding the girl tightly.
Jiaran and Guan Ling barely escaped with their lives, drenched in cold sweat, yet they stubbornly advanced toward the Wolf King. Meanwhile, Xiaoyuer and Yuan Caiyi came over, clutching each other tightly, and shouted furiously at the Wolf King, “Give Yaya back to us!”
The Wolf King narrowed his eerie green eyes, looking at the four of them with disdain. With a cold sneer, he said, “My mission is complete. I’m too lazy to waste words with you insignificant ants!” Then, with a powerful leap, he vaulted high above their heads.
But before he could escape, a figure blocked his path. The person was drenched in blood, nearly battered beyond recognition, yet stood like a god of war—unyielding and imposing. Thick eyebrows furrowed fiercely over large eyes filled with wrath, he spoke to the Wolf King, word by word: “Put Yaya down.”
The Wolf King was forced to take a step back by the man’s imposing aura. Only when he saw that the man before him had but one arm did he sneer, “You must be tired of living, kid! Die…”
Just as he was about to strike, the silly girl in his arms moved again. The Wolf King flinched as if shocked by electricity, stumbled, and begrudgingly said to the man before him, “Step aside, I don’t want to kill you!”
Behind them, the women cried out in unison, “Big Brother, be careful! He’s so strong!”
Commander Ye Dajun took a deep breath, raised his arm, and pointed at the Wolf King five steps away. “No matter how strong you are, as long as I live, you will not harm my sisters or take Yaya away!”
The Wolf King snorted coldly, raised his chin, and howled. A few werewolves nearby who could still move gathered around, blocking Ye Dajun’s path.
The remaining underlings hurried over to stand beside Ye Dajun. All were battered and bloodied, crimson still dripping from their wounds, yet each clenched their teeth with unwavering resolve, staring fiercely at the approaching werewolves.
The Wolf King seemed restless and ready to retreat. He growled lowly and took a step back. Ye Dajun, fearing another attack on Jiaran and the others, shouted, “Stop! Put Yaya down!”
Suddenly, the Wolf King charged forward, using the high ground to leap into the air and vault over everyone’s heads.
Ye Dajun didn’t expect such agility and quickly turned to intercept him. But a werewolf in front launched an attack from behind. Ye Dajun had no choice but to fight back with his fists.
This werewolf was the one whose waist had been injured by Iron Head. Now somewhat hindered in movement, his agility was diminished.
Yet Ye Dajun had no time to waste wrestling with him; his mind was fixed on the silly girl. He forced the werewolf back with a punch and turned to pursue the Wolf King.
The werewolf, relentless, pounced again from behind. Ye Dajun grew desperate and shouted, striking the werewolf’s chest with a powerful right fist. A sickening “crack” sounded as the werewolf’s chest caved in. Then another punch followed, smashing through the werewolf’s torso, his fist breaking through his body.
“Ah!” The group of girls screamed, covering their eyes.
Ye Dajun gasped, pulling out his bloodied right arm, staring in disbelief at his fist that had pierced through a man’s body. How much strength must he have wielded?
The Wolf King, who had been preparing to leave, stopped in his tracks upon seeing this. Pressing against Ye Dajun, his eyes glared with hatred. “The Overpowering Fist of the Ancient Martial Sect?” He shrugged his shoulders, attempting to charge forward, but for some unknown reason, he was restrained. He snorted coldly, “Leave.”
The werewolves on the ground quickly retreated, following the Wolf King into the darkness.
Ye Dajun roared, “Leave Yaya behind!” and lunged forward, grabbing the Wolf King’s shoulder.
The Wolf King grasped Ye Dajun’s wrist. Applying a slight force, Ye Dajun felt his bones agonizingly threatened but clenched his fingers tightly on the Wolf King’s clothing.
The Wolf King squinted and scolded him, “Let go, don’t force me to kill you! I have no fondness for the Ancient Martial Sect. To me, you’re nothing but an insignificant dog—a little better than an ant, but far inferior to a wolf!”
Ye Dajun gritted his teeth against the pain, narrowing his own eyes as he cursed, “Even if I’m a dog, I’ll bite and never let go. I said it before: unless I’m dead, I won’t let you take Yaya!”
The Wolf King roared, enraged and humiliated, throwing caution to the wind. He seized Ye Dajun’s neck with one hand, wolfish teeth grinding together with a terrifying sound, and snarled, “Then die!”
“Crack!” A sickening snap echoed as Ye Dajun’s neck was forcibly broken. His whole body went limp, collapsing like a broken strand of noodles. Yet, his five fingers remained locked onto the Wolf King’s shoulder, tearing off a strip of cloth.
The Wolf King sneered coldly, howled to the sky, and suppressed his fury. “He forced my hand; otherwise, we wouldn’t have left. Don’t worry, I held back.” Saying so, he vanished into the night with his men.
“Big Brother!” Jiaran screamed, rushing to Ye Dajun’s side. The other girls, tears streaming down their faces, swarmed him, shaking his body.
Guan Ling pressed a finger to Ye Dajun’s nose and shouted joyfully, “Big Brother still breathes! Hurry, take him to the hospital!”
Several underlings tried to rush forward but stopped in their tracks, stunned by what they saw ahead. The girls looked up at the cliff bathed in moonlight, mouths agape in shock.
In the darkness, green eyes blinked. The werewolves who had retreated earlier began to creep back.
Two pairs of blood-red eyes emerged from the shadows. A cold, emotionless voice slowly intoned, “Those who harm my kin and brothers shall pay with their lives.”
