Qin Lu agonized for quite a while before finally lowering her head, pressing herself close into Fang Yu's embrace, and acting like a spoiled child with a hint of guilt.
"My love, please don't be mad, okay? I really can't take such a long leave. Once summer vacation starts, I'll spend plenty of time keeping you company, alright?"

How could he bear to let his white moonlight feel wronged? He quickly stroked the young girl's head.
"Alright, it's not a big deal. I was just worried you'd be miserable alone at school. Once I go away, it'll take a week or two, and I was afraid you wouldn't be able to find me."

While the two of them were being all tender and sweet, Hu Yan chimed in from the side.
"Hey, Fang Yu, are you going to Tokyo? I want to go out and have some fun too. Why don't we go together?"

"Huh? You guys? I'm going for serious business, not for fun. Besides, a trip to Tokyo isn't cheap, and I can only manage to cover two meals for you at most." Fang Yu felt a bit put on the spot. If Dumpling had asked, it would have been fine, but he didn't interact much with Hu Yan and found it awkward to refuse her directly.

He had expected Hu Yan to back down in the face of difficulty, but unexpectedly, Dumpling jumped right in, slapping his trouser pocket with a carefree swagger.
"What kind of talk is that? Am I, Dumpling, a guy who lacks money? Besides, going to classes like this is so boring anyway. It's just right for me and Yanzi to go out and have some fun."

Hu Yan quickly nodded in agreement.
"Exactly, we can keep each other company, and it'll be a bit more lively on the road."

Things having reached this point, he had no choice but to nod with a bitter smile.
"Oh, alright then. Once we get back to the internet cafe, get your documents ready. Someone from my company will come by shortly to handle the paperwork."

Perhaps out of a sense of apology toward Fang Yu, Qin Lu tightly hooked her arm around him the entire time, looking like a little bird clinging to a man. She obediently accompanied him through lunch, and only then did she reluctantly watch the three of them get into the 640.
"Agh, my love, there's still quite a few days before you leave for Tokyo, right? You're not allowed to drop out of contact, you hear me? If I can't find you, I'll go wait at the internet cafe until you come back."

"Alright, I promise. I'll come keep you company more often these days. Okay, I'm heading back first to sort out the documents." Giving the young girl a light kiss on the cheek, Fang Yu started the engine, and the 640 roared down the road, speeding back toward the vicinity of the snack street.

At two o'clock in the afternoon, accompanied by Dumpling and Hu Yan, the three of them arrived back at the entrance of the snack street. Fang Yu caught sight of a large flatbed trailer parked by the roadside; it looked like Sun Han and the others had already arrived.

For some reason, Sun Han hadn't called him today. He parked the car and strode into the internet cafe. Xia Churan and Li Jing were already there, and they hurriedly stood up when they saw him.
"You're back, Fang Yu. Someone's waiting for you."

Sun Han was sitting alone in the old sofa in the corner. Seeing him, he quickly stood up with a fawning smile.
"Hello, President Fang. President Zhang instructed me to bring you the cars and process your visa."

"Thanks for your hard work. Why didn't you give me a call to let me know?" Fang Yu chuckled, grabbing a bottle of water from the shelf and handing it over.

"I just arrived as well, and Ms. Xia said you went to the downtown area and would be right back. I figured I'd wait until three o'clock to call if I still hadn't seen you," Sun Han said, looking thoroughly respectful.

"Alright, thanks again. Now then, Cheng Chen, Lu Zhen, let's go check out your new cars." He waved enthusiastically at the others.

Cheng Chen nodded eagerly with a delighted grin.
"Tsk, so fast? I'm getting so excited."

"Should we call Zhao Bin over?" Lu Zhen glanced around hesitantly. Zhao Bin had been on the night shift these past few days and should still be catching up on sleep.

"Forget it, we'll talk tonight. Since he's on the night shift, don't wake him up."

"Then I'm going to take a look too." Xia Churan grabbed his arm, clamoring to go join in the excitement.

Only Dumpling and Hu Yan looked utterly bewildered.
"What's going on with you, Fang Yu? Delivering cars? What cars?"

The group bustlingly made their way out of the snack street. Sun Han made a phone call, and two workers climbed down from the flatbed trailer, hurriedly pulling back the canvas tarps to reveal several brand-new sedans.

"What are these, Fang Yu? Are these cars your company gave you?" Dumpling asked, his eyes practically turning green with envy.

"They're for tax write-offs, to be used by Cheng Chen and the others," he answered vaguely, waving a hand.

"Not bad at all! Hey, talk to your company and hook me up with one too." The dead fatty's eyes were darting around slyly now.

"You? You don't even have a driver's license, what car are you going to drive?"

"Who says I don't? I had one back in high school, okay? It just got revoked later on, but that's no big deal—just have your company assign a driver for me." Dumpling's face flushed red as he stubbornly stuck his neck out.

"You sure know how to crunch the numbers. Even I don't have a personal driver. Come on, some things look too ugly when spelled out."

Dumpling wouldn't get his driver's license until after 2012 at the earliest; Fang Yu remembered that detail very clearly.

Hearing this exchange, Hu Yan pinched the fat around Dumpling's waist in annoyance.
"Why are you asking Fang Yu for a car, Dumpling? Don't you have a sports car of your own? Go ask your dad for one."

Dumpling had no choice but to quickly put on a smile and spout nonsense off the top of his head.
"You know how it is, babe, my dad drove it away. Cars like these are just casual drives, you don't care if they get banged up. You have no idea, my sports car cost over a million."

Ignoring the dead fatty's showing off, Fang Yu and Sun Han rushed to have the workers unload the cars one by one. Cheng Chen was the first to dash over and catch the keys to the Land Cruiser.
"I just love these big ones. A man's gotta drive something big—the bigger, the better."

"Drop dead, what are you talking about!" Li Jing blushed and lightly struck Cheng Chen's chest.

"Holy crap, Boss Fang, there's no space left in front of the shop for all these cars." Lu Zhen sheepishly caught the keys to the 320.

Right in front of Seven-Star Internet Cafe, there used to be a row of bicycle parking spots, which Fang Yu had later unceremoniously commandeered to park his own 640 and that Santana 2000. Aside from that small patch of empty ground, there truly wasn't an inch of space left anywhere else.

"You guys can just do what I used to do—park in the side alley in the middle of the snack street."

"Uh, I just got my license not long ago, so my driving skills are pretty bad, heh heh." Lu Zhen scratched his head sheepishly.

Cheng Chen chimed in instead.
"It's fine, Lu Zhen, you can park right in front of the shop. My car is too big, it'll just block the path. I'll just park with Zhao Bin."

Before long, Sun Han helped drive the A5 into the snack street. Just as he parked and prepared to discuss the visa processing with Fang Yu, a wave of high-end perfume washed over them, and Shen Molan, the wealthy young heiress, arrived.

"Yo, so lively today? Fang Yu, open a private booth for me; I need to look up some information. Does anyone here know how to fix this piece-of-junk laptop?" Shen Molan casually tossed a small laptop along with its packaging onto the counter.

"Oh? Molan's here? How would I know how to fix that? Go ahead and get online first, I'll take it to the downtown area for you to checked another day."

Shen Molan nodded, then looked around.
"What's going on here today? So many people. I saw an extra 3 Series parked outside, did you buy it?"

"Hmm, it's for company tax write-offs. There are two more parked in the back because there was no room."

At that moment, Sun Han stepped forward with a careful, ingratiating smile.
"President Fang, it's getting late. Could you please provide me with the list of people heading to Tokyo, along with their identification documents?"

Shen Molan tilted her head in curiosity.
"Hey, Fang Yu, are you going to Tokyo?"

"Yeah, leaving mid-month. Going there to handle some things. What, is the great Miss Shen interested in coming along?" He still held quite a favorable impression of this girl; she came from a wealthy background, possessed striking looks, and even better, had a forthright disposition. Though she had a bit of a spoiled temper, it was harmless enough.
