The Ninefold Mysterious Art consists of five major components.

The fifth is combat arts: with the first tier of the Ninefold Mysterious Art, one can manifest the form of heaven and earth, instantly enlarging the physical body ninefold and unleashing more than nine times the power of the same realm. Upon advancing to the second tier, the power multiplies ninefold again—and so it continues.

Exhaling deeply after surveying the general method of the Ninefold Mysterious Art, Di Cang was inwardly shaken.

"So this is the legendary Ninefold Mysterious Art, the technique famed for sanctifying the flesh?"

"It truly lives up to its reputation."

Di Cang mused, "It is not something one can achieve with casual cultivation. It involves many facets, requires much preparation, the gathering of numerous resources, and painstaking tempering of the blood and body—like refining a treasure, one must refine one’s own flesh and blood little by little to reach the pinnacle."

Nor was it only the Ninefold Mysterious Art.

At this moment, the foundational runes within the "Spirit-Linking Treasure Refinement Art" he held had also matured in his cultivation. First, one must obtain a method for gathering innate clear qi. The runes of the Spirit-Linking Treasure Refinement Art have a similar effect. Thus, the first step is to use these runes to temper the spirit, filling it with innate runes that naturally draw in innate clear qi.
